Do These 3 Things to Prevent China Coronavirus

The mysterious virus that attacks many citizens in China is a new type of corona virus.
Scientist Leo Poon, who first decoded the virus that interferes with breathing, thinks it likely started in an animal and spread to humans.
According to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) this virus certainly can be transmitted from human to human.
Pneumonia is an infection or inflammation in lung system which caused by some microorganism such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, chemical exposure, or physical damage to the lungs.
Based on where the source of the infection is, pneumonia grouped into three namely community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), hospital acquired pneumonia (HAP), and ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP).
However, pneumonia that infected many people in Wuhan, China is not one of the three.
The Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data (GISAID) has released a type of Betacoronavirus that became an outbreak in Wuhan. According to GISAID, there are 5 new genomes that are different from SARS-coronavirus and MERSCoronavirus.
The new study, however, concludes that the new virus, "although comparatively weaker" than SARS, binds to the same human enzyme that has been identified as the receptor for the SARS virus.
People affected by coronavirus will initially experience fever, weakness, cough, and difficult to breath. Older people have a higher risk of making things worse.
Some pneumonia vaccines currently available such as PCV13 Pneumococcal, PPSV23 Pneumococcal, and Hib vaccine are only used to prevent common pneumonia. While the pneumonia cases that breakout in Wuhan came from a new type of coronavirus, namely novel coronavirus or 2019-nCoV. That is why currently there is no vaccine available for coronavirus that infects Wuhan residents.
In fact, efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus have become an urgent need because the virus is now also spreading abroad. Not only in Wuhan, several countries in Asia have reported similar cases that have occurred in Wuhan, that is Singapore, Korea, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
In response to this, you are advised to do these 3 things, including:
1. Stay Alert
Especially if you have a fever, cough with difficulty breathing, immediately seek help from the nearest hospital.2. Health Advice
Keep your hands clean, especially before holding your mouth, nose and eyes and after handling public installations.Wash your hands with water and liquid soap and rinse for at least 20 seconds. Wash with water and dry with a towel or disposable paper. If there is no hand washing facility, you can use an antiseptic handrub.
Cover mouth and nose with tissue when sneezing or coughing.
When you have respiratory symptoms, wear a mask and seek treatment at a health care facility.
3. Guide to travel abroad, Especially China
Always wear a mask when going outside.
Avoid touching animals or birds. Avoid visiting wet markets, farms or live animal markets.
Avoid close contact with patients who have symptoms of respiratory tract infections.
Comply with food safety instructions and hygiene rules.
If you feel that your health is uncomfortable when in an outbreak area, especially fever or cough, wear a mask and seek health services.
After returning from the outbreak area, consult a doctor if there are symptoms of fever or other symptoms and tell the doctor your travel history and use a mask to prevent transmission of the disease.
Wuhan coronavirus is indeed a scary plague at this time, but we can minimize it so that it does not catch the virus by always maintaining good hygiene and consuming healthy food.
