How to Avoid Pain In Lower Abdomen While Exercising
Have you ever felt pain in one part of the lower abdomen while running or jogging?

The pain usually appears because of the pressure from the diaphragm which bounces up and down when running.

Here are some tips to avoid such interference.

1. Stretching

The diaphragm has a muscle that needs to be stretched, like muscles in other parts. Raise both hands up and bend your body to the right, hold for 30 seconds. Repeat this on the opposite side.

2. Pursed lips

Focus on the respiratory pattern with how to breathe using your mouth while running and never hold your breath. Pursed lips can help focus while doing deep breathing.

3. Drinking water

Drink about 0.15 liters of water every 15 minutes of exercise. Dehydration causes reduced oxygen in the muscle so that the exercise was heavy.

4. Slightly eat

Avoid heavy meals before exercising. Eat at least three hours in advance or snack an hour before. Too much food in the stomach may create pressure on the diaphragm.
