Researchers and Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis surveyed the 10,000 economists in 75 countries to study the productivity of work and family balance.

Then, they compared the results of the survey based on the number of papers each respondent published throughout their careers.

The results of the study showed that mothers who work have higher stress pressure. However, women who have married and have children and a career for 30 years found to be more productive than single women.

The study also mngungkapkan that the working mother who has two children are the most productive career woman. Then, within the scope of the men, the study found that the father worked with two children also showed high productivity. However, the father of one child have the same work performance with single men.

These results are so different in a short period. Because the mothers who have young children experiencing 15 to 17 failures of productivity, but they were able to rise up and show a much better performance.

Researchers caution that the results of this study do not apply to all working mothers in the world. The reason, they only study respondents who have academic skills in a particular field.
